Proud owners Bill Christian and Jeff Ghazali, whose first Downtown venture is the popular Bentara Malaysian Restaurant just down the street, have crafted what is destined to be a Grade A American dining experience in the bustling Ninth Square. Central combines a relaxing and elegant dining area with the excitement of an open kitchen—the perfect setting for the mouthwatering, world-class aged beef they offer on their sophisticated menu. While the steaks clearly steal the show, Central offers a tasty supporting cast of grilled sides, vegetarian victuals and fresh seafood.

At Central, chef/owner Hasni Ghazali blows away all your expectations of what a steakhouse should be. The fish, pasta, and meat dishes are as stunning as the steaks, and represent a truly global cuisine. Nightly specials often feature Kobe and natural grass-fed beef. These meticulous, surprising dishes, however, are served by a warm, down-to-earth staff.
