Downtown at the Taft is a celebration of the best of food, wine and lifestyle.
Dedicated to the best in New American food with an Italian influence, Dowtown at the Taft brings you an exciting dining experience in the renovated ballroom of the former Taft Hotel in downtown New Haven, Connecticut.
The menu is a roster of Chef Anton's lusty creations, incorporating the best and freshest seasonal produce, meat, game and seafood, accented with many unusual ingredients that will surprise and delight.
The wine list represents one of the most extensive and intelligent collections in the area, presided over by Gratziano Ricci and served by our expert wine and service teams.
Downtown at the Taft seats up to 250 diners in its awe inspiring two level dining room, and has a lively bar area where patrons may enjoy a martini, or choose to have a full meal. We are located next door to the Shubert Theater, in the center of downtown New Haven.
