Stitch 'n Bitch
Men and women of all ages and skill levels who do any portable craft are welcome! We meet four times a week around New Haven and the Greater New Haven region.
We meet:
- 7 to 9 p.m. every Monday at Starbucks, 1660 Litchfield Tpke. (Rte. 69), in Woodbridge
- 7 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday at Au Bon Pain, 1 Broadway (on the corner of York Street) in New Haven
- 7 to 9 p.m. every Thursday at Panera Bread, 132 Universal Dr. N. (exit 9 off I-91), in North Haven
- 1 to 3 p.m. every Sunday at Moka, 141 Orange St., in New Haven
Come once or twice a week or every once in a while and stay the whole time or 10 mins. The only cost is the snack and/or beverage you should buy to repay the cafe for letting us hang out for two-plus hours.
No lessons are offered, but beginners please bring chunky yarn and big knitting needles or a big crochet hook and someone'll gladly get you started with the basics.
