How did you end up here? I moved to CT with my mother after graduating from High School.  I studied Hospitality at Gateway Community College and Boston University .    After being in Hospitality for 11 years, I felt it would be a great opportunity to continue what I loved doing and use the skills I had acquired.  Scott thought INFO New Haven and I would make a good match, and I’m very glad he did.

When did you get here? July 21, 1991

What do you do here, anyway?  Where do I begin?  I manage INFO New Haven Downtown and at Long Wharf Drive .  I run the INFO New Haven/New Haven information booth at Pilot Pen, as well as any other off-site INFO New Haven ventures.  I also run and/or assist area promotions and Town Green events.

Do you serve on any committees?   Town Green’s Hospitality, but I wish I had time for more

Top 5 things that make your job awesome? Here goes my David Letterman top 5: 5) I love being able to work with people on the frontline (even the crazy ones), 4) It’s great working with people that are like family (even the crazy ones), 3) I get to work with people who love the city as much as I do, 2) I can now say that, yes, there are stupid questions, and get to laugh about them, and the top reason why my job is awesome, 1) I spend the majority of my day at the “yummy corner”

Do you have a nickname? J-La (for too many obvious reasons), Jenn-Jenn, and Mommy (my favorite)

What's your favorite TG memory to date? As crazy and silly as it may get sometimes, I really liked when we’ve renovated INH (both spaces) or decorated INH for the holidays

How about a fun fact?  When I was younger, I was such a social butterfly, that when I was in the first grade, my teacher gave me my own cubicle…in the very back of the classroom.
