How did you end up here? After eight years in retail, I wanted something that allowed me to stretch a bit, write a lot and be more active in the community. Scott was kind enough to give me the opportunity to be a part of Town Green.
When did you get here?
What do you do here, anyway? As Assistant Director, I'm in charge of the Town Green's many publications. Tea Leaves, our twice monthly newsletter is the big one, but I also write copy for Catalyst, our Annual Report, the Guide to Downtown New Haven and I co-manage the production of seasonal calendars with the Greater New Haven Convention and Visitors Bureau. Basically, if it needs writing, I'm in charge of it. I also handle super fun projects like the entertainment portion of Late Night Thursdays and the Town Green's Annual Dance Party. I am also the main intern wrangler.
Do you serve on any committees? City of
Top 5 things that make your job awesome? It's never boring, I get to be creative (I love to brainstorm), I'm actually using my college degree, I work with people I like and I'm making a difference in city that I see as my adopted hometown.
Do you have a nickname? There is a short list of people allowed to call me "Daze". Occasionally, Scott will call me Punster.
What's your favorite TG memory to date? Successfully putting together the May We Help You Dance Party was a good time. We raised money AND I got see Scott do the splits? What’s better than that?
