Mission
The Town Green Special Services District mission is to improve
ownership values and the urban appeal of Downtown New Haven for the
betterment of Greater New Haven. The Town Green Special Services District covers a 27 square block area in Downtown New Haven. Since its founding in 1997, Town Green has worked towards a cleaner, safer, more inviting Downtown. In addition to INFONewHaven.com, the District runs three boots-on-the-ground programs to make New Haven a better place to live, work, and visit. |

On top of online and on-the-ground services, the TGSSD publishes a number of New Haven informational publications, including the wildly popular Downtown Guide and Tea Leaves newsletter. They also organize and sponsor promotions, festivals, and celebrations of and for New Haven throughout the year - find out more at the Programs and Services page.
* We regret to inform you that for budget reasons, the Long Wharf visitor center will not be in operation this year. For more information, please call 401-4245.
