More Info on Free Music on the Green '09

New Haven’s popular Music on the Green presented by Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven has treated visitors and residents to performances by some of today’s most popular and award-winning recording artists. The concerts, performed in the outdoor setting of the historic New Haven Green, are just one aspect of the total New Haven experience. It all begins long before the stage lights come up on any given performance. A truly memorable evening starts as soon as you enter the lively, attractive downtown neighborhood filled with an appealing scene of shoppers in the distinctive shops and boutiques; diners enjoying cuisine from dozens of different countries; and, of course, eager concert-goers gathering for an evening of exceptional entertainment.
