12th Annual ArtWalk in Westville Free Event

May 8 - 9

Stroll Historic Westville Village for the 12th Annual ArtWalk Festival on Friday, May, 8, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. This free community family event features art exhibitions from local, regional and national artists, a craft fair and a full day of events for kids and adults of all ages. ArtWalk is Connecticut’s largest volunteer led festival. An up-to-date schedule can be found at www.westvillect.org.

Art Gallery Openings and entertainment throughout Westville Village

Saturday, May 9

All day live entertainment from four stages from 11:00 – 5:00 featuring: St. Luke's Steel Drum Band, GOZA, Caravan of Thieves, Lost 45s, E-S Express Jazz Band, HOE, FayRey, Brian Dolzani, Scott Serkez, Beth Patella and Nathan Trier, Vicki Genfan, Glenn Roth; stages located at Edgewood Park (corner of West Rock & Whalley), corner Central & Fountain Ave; Mitchell Library, Arlow Alley (entrance off Whalley Ave)
Dancing in the streets from 6:00 – 9:00 with Luke Elliot and Michael Cleary Bands

All Day Events for kids in Edgewood Park and Mitchell Library including performances by national puppeteers, The Puppet People and interactive theater from Broken Umbrella Theater, Mother’s day gift making, Mehendi, nature crafts, giant lawn games, climbing wall, poetry project, tie-dying and much more!

Expanded Arts & Crafts corridor on Central Avenue between Whalley Avenue and Fountain Street featuring more than 40 regional and national artisans and craftspeople

Historic Walking Tours with author Colin Caplin at 2:00 departing from Lyric Hall 827 Whalley Ave More than 15 open studios exhibitions, and gallery openings Westville Village merchant events, sidewalk sales, and specials
