2024 New Haven Cocktail Week

A month of cycling and apizza, are you thirsty yet? You’re in luck. This month also brings the return of New Haven Cocktail Week, running from September 15-21. Throughout this week, we will celebrate all things libations – shaken and stirred. From cocktail education and tastings to the Annual Spirits Ball at Gioia Cafe & Bar, this boozy week cannot be missed. 2024 New Haven Pride Fest

In the Elm City, we take our fun in doubles. Double scoops, double shots, and double Pride. Each September, New Haven celebrates its own dedicated Pride Month, with support from New Haven Pride Center. The annual Pride celebration will take place on September 7th from noon to 6 PM on Crown & Orange Street, complete with local vendors, live performances, and fun activities for the whole community. Support by showing up and showing out, or support the New Haven Pride Center directly by volunteering at one of their many programming and fundraising events. Learn more here →

Elm Shakespeare presents Richard III

Elm Shakespeare Company’s 29th annual summer production, Richard III, directed by Rebecca Goodheart, Elm’s seasoned Producing Artistic Director, is set to be a landmark event at the Alexander Clark Playhouse Stage in Edgerton Park, running from August 15th to September 1st.  Goodheart, with over two decades of experience in directing, acting, and teaching Shakespeare, will explore the role society plays in creating villains and the cost of political violence on us all. Flights of Fancy Returns to Downtown July 11!

Clink, clink! Flights of Fancy, the city’s premier shopping, wine, and food crawl, returns to downtown on July 11, from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM. The celebrated annual event brings together fashion-forward folk, foodies, and amateur sommeliers from across the state, plus thirsty locals. Attendees will be invited to sip, taste, and shop at 20+ local stores, taking home souvenir glasses, event bags, raffle prizes, and a new favorite summer blend.
