2023 NEW HAVEN RESTAURANT WEEK PARTICIPANT FAQS

What is New Haven Restaurant Week?

A bi-annual celebration of New Haven dining.

An opportunity to move your business forward by partnering with New Haven’s most popular and successful promotion.

A reason for diners to discover your restaurant and sample your menu.

The promotion runs six days, Sunday – Friday

November 2023 will mark the 15th Anniversary Celebration.

What are the 2023 Dates

April 16-21, 2023
November 5-10, 2023

Is there a cost to participate?

For the first time since 2019, we will be reinstating participation fees as outlined below:

Cost:  $800 [covers both the spring & fall]
$600 – applied to marketing costs [graphic design, website, advertising, pr & social media].
$200 – earmarked as a donation for the Connecticut Foodshare [fall installment]
Participation fees are due, in full on or before March 1, 2023 and are non-refundable.

How can my restaurant participate?

For full-service New Haven dining establishments to participate, lunch and dinner menus must demonstrate a value to consumers at the set pricing (typically a discount of at least 20% off standard pricing).

Does my restaurant have to participate in both installments?

Yes, restaurants must decide by February 22, and commit to both the spring, and fall installments. This will make planning all aspects for the year more manageable.

What is the 2023 pricing structure?

Lunch will be offered at $25 per person (2-courses)

Dinner will be offered at the following prices $35, $45 or $55 per person (3-courses)

Restaurants will determine the price for which they will offer dinner.
