Prince Tea House brings a modern tea experience to Downtown New Haven, a new concept for the city’s café landscape.
Located on Crown Street, the tea house draws you in the moment you step inside. The space is layered with storybook detail, where soft pastels, cascading florals, velvet banquettes, and marble tables create a playful tea setting.
Owner Christine Vlasny designed the space as a place for people to come together over a traditional afternoon tea service. That intention carries through in how the experience unfolds at the table: tea arrives first, followed by desserts and small plates set out to share, including the signature mille crêpe cakes.
The experience invites guests to settle in, stay awhile, and connect, with each course building naturally on the next.
