OpenTable and People Magazine Name New Haven’s Siena Ristorante Among America’s 50 Most Beautiful Restaurants

Nestled in the lobby of The Blake Hotel, Siena Ristorante serves up Italian cuisine, “the way nonna used to.” You love it, we love it, and apparently, the culinary enthusiasts at OpenTable and People Magazine love it. The teams collaborated to celebrate People’s 50th anniversary with a stunning list of the 50 most beautiful restaurants in the country, crowning one from each state. Tavern on State Honored by The New York Times

One of downtown’s most popular restaurants, Tavern on State, was featured in The New York Times, leading the “23 of the Best American Dishes of 2023.” Writer Julia Moskin specifically praised the tavern’s fried chicken, saying “I will always order the fried chicken at a promising new restaurant like this one. Its fried chicken thighs with green tomato relish and radish salad was the best of many dishes I loved this year in the growing “tavern” category — a much-needed bridge between pub grub and tweezer food.”

Gilmore Girls Inspired Getaway in New Haven
