Small Business Saturday Returns to Downtown

Looking to finish your holiday shopping before cracking open your advent calendar? We’re closing out the month of November with the Small Business Saturday Pop-Up on November 26. From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m at 1042 Chapel Street, shoppers will have the opportunity to fill their stockings with New Haven, while spreading good cheer and supporting local retailers. Forget big box Black Friday chaos and shop local. At any of New Haven’s local boutiques, you’ll find a hands-on, personalized shopping experience and leave with an irreplaceable, incomparable gift from the heart.

When it comes to our holiday happenings, Small Business Saturday is just the beginning. Throughout the month of December, visitors can grab a front-row seat to witness a magnificent ice-carving demonstration, performed by a professional ice carver who will transform two 300-pound blocks of ice into a holiday-themed work of art. Amping up the holiday cheer, visitors can also sing along to Yuletide Carolers decked out in traditional garb who will be performing classic holiday hits echoing all throughout downtown.
